Career Description

This role supports the Springdale based Demand Planning department for both Retail and Foodservice businesses. It is responsible for a variety of activities including demand forecast analytics, special project support, customer collaboration support and Sales & Operations Planning reporting and process adherence. This position will prepare the individual for incremental responsibility as a planner within the broader planning department.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Support a Demand Planning Manager's activities to include but not limited to, rolling 27 month item level demand plans, monitor promotions, events, and market conditions to ensure accurate demand plans.
Support Consensus activities from a demand/forecasting perspective on a monthly basis
Monitor and communicate reports on forecast accuracy to Business Unit and Supply Chain organizations, while driving continuous improvement.

Other responsibilities to include:
Generate a variety of demand planning reports and provide analysis for multiple S&OP meetings each month; Monitor S&OP process adherence and identify continuous improvement opportunities; Support monthly Customer Collaboration meetings; Generate timely ad hoc reporting and analysis as needed; Support special projects and demand planning initiatives

Education: Bachelor's degree in supply chain, industrial engineering, logistics, finance, or business administration is required

Experience: 0-2 years of experience in analyzing planning, scheduling, or other supply chain process is required

Communication Skills: Excellent analytical, written and verbal communication skills are necessary.

Computer Skills: High proficiency using PC based applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Access) is required
