SUMMARY:
Deliver on Tyson's Purpose of Raising the World's Expectations of How Much Good Food Can Do through design, communication and delivery of compensation programs, to accelerate client growth and meet business objectives. This position is responsible for leading a team responsible for providing proactive, data-driven consultative services and tailored approaches for client groups.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Business-Tailored programs, resources, and tools:
    • Design, implement and maintain business-specific compensation deliverables that align with business strategy and support company-wide compensation framework across numerous employee groups (Hourly to Officer level TMs).
    • Proactively identify business compensation needs by monitoring industry trends. Assess and implement business-specific compensation infrastructure (e.g., competitive pay ranges, unique compensation programs).
    • Provide guidance, direction and insight for job evaluations to ensure consistency in assessments within the business and across the Enterprise; actively partner with other areas of Comp and HR to facilitate.
    • Create data-driven deliverables that identify themes to inform and initiate compensation initiatives to create differentiated value for the business.
    • As needed, implement tools, resources, programs for mergers & acquisitions and divestiture activities.
    • Partner with other corporate areas on compensation matters (e.g.Accounting, Tax, Legal, Communications, Benefits, Payroll, Talent & Culture).
  • Leadership:
    • Provide thought leadership to help identify and drive team strategy and key objectives.
    • Provide guidance, coaching and direction for a team of three specialists.
    • Provide general Compensation thought and executional leadership as a member of the overall Global Compensation Leadership Team.

REQUIREMENTS:
Education:
Bachelor's degree required.

Experience:
  • 8+ years of progressive compensation experience. Compensation consulting experience (external consultant experience a plus);
  • Project management experience; recognition experience a plus.
Computer Skills:
Requires intermediate computer skills in Microsoft Office Applications, such as Excel, Word and PowerPoint.

Communication Skills:
Strong verbal and written communication skills, the ability to consult and influence across various levels and functions of the organization. Comfortable presenting materials to varied audiences including senior level audiences. Ability to communicate and translate complex, technical details to end users and client groups.
