SUMMARY:

Support the expansion and sales growth for Tyson Foods in the Convenience and Vending (CV) channel
  • Work with channel senior marketing manager and director to identify and validate product line gaps, opportunities.
  • Monitor competitive landscape to identify threats and opportunities, including collecting and cataloging competitive product information, communication tools and tactics, etc.
  • Act as a CV channel representative with multiple cross-functional groups within the organization, which may include the Retail Brand teams, Innovation teams and Sales Operations as an advocate for the needs of the CV channels and ensure clear communication.
  • Provide support for the development of sales support tools in the CV channels.
Lead analysis of external industry and internal performance information to support the efforts of the CV Sales and Channel Marketing teams.
  • External sales data including IRI and other customer level performance data to assess sales trends, shifts in consumer purchase behavior, competitive risks and market share estimation.
  • Program execution data (equipment/merchandising programs, rebates, etc.) to monitor program compliance, effectiveness, etc.
Develop, execute and measure effectiveness of consumer targeted communication and engagement which may include direct consumer communication platforms (Facebook, blogs, consumer media, etc.) and consumer promotions (coupons,general in-store consumer targeted promotions and POS, etc.).

Contribute to the execution and evaluation of trade communication in the CV channels.

REQUIREMENTS:

Education: BS or BA degree in business-related program (strongly preferred)or equivalent combination of education and business experience. Master's degree preferred but not required.

Experience: 3+ years' professional business experience; strong analytical and financial acumen with the ability to articulate business intelligence. Foodservice industry experience is a plus. Person must be detail-oriented and a highly-skilled project manager able to manage several projects at one time. Experience in consumer facing communication and social media execution are a plus.

Computer Skills: Intermediate skills with computer, especially with PowerPoint, and Excel; Knowledge of basic website content publication and social media communication beneficial.

Communication Skills: Excellent verbal andwritten communication skills required.

Travel: Up to 5 domestic trips per year
