Career Description

This position is responsible for monitoring and product throughout the processing phase. Individual will maintain communication with all production team members to coordinate equipment adjustments as needed. Responsible for the operation of computer PLCs. Requires documented previous floor experience in multiple areas of a rendering facility.


Tasks

This position requires long tedious hours observing computer screen. Must be computer literate. Must be proficient in basic math and have ability to distinguish different colors of flashing lights. Must be able to sit for long periods of time. Must be able to climb stairs and ladders up to 60 feet. Must be able to read and write. May be required to reset breakers, starters and variable frequency drives. Must be able to identify all motor controls on equipment and relay information to other team members. Must monitor and convey information on controls, relay temperature, gate positions and speeds to other team members. Must operate computers, volt meters, electrical equipment, centrifuge analysis machines, and be able to reset controls. May perform other duties as assigned by supervisor. Requirements

Applicants who have worked for Tyson three times will not be considered. Minimum 6 month waiting period from last Tyson employment.
