Summary:
This position supports CCM and Sr. CCM positions on retailer-specific (Primarily Ahold/Delhaize but other Retailers as needed) projects, analytics and insights that are required to drive sales volume, distribution, and advancing customer relations.

Responsibilities for this position include:
Supports Category Leadership efforts by providing ad-hoc retail, category and shopper analytics and assists CCM and Sr. CCM in developing actionable recommendations to drive category/brand growth.

Assists in translating CLP's into actionable and relevant insight that can be applied to retailer-specific category strategic and tactical plans, including: Shopper insights, shelving guidelines, and Macro space (customized syndicated data pulls and analysis).

Assists in developing and building assortment builds for demand transfer projects: Building and analyzing cumulative sales and illustrating inefficiencies by SKU, building and analyzing ROM (rest of market) SKU ranking and opportunities, forecasting new item adds / innovation / cannibalization.

Assisting with store cluster projects and analytics, where relevant. Assists in developing insight-based recommendations of space management, sales, distribution, pricing and promotion.

Requirements:
Education: BA degree in related field preferred, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Experience: 2+ years of experience in Category Management, Sales, and/or Consumer Insights. Food industry experience a plus.

Computer Skills: Advanced skills in PowerPoint, Excel.

Communication Skills: Effective presentation, verbal and written communication skills.

Special Skills: Experience analyzing data & providing actionable insights utilizing retailer data sources and syndicated data (IRI/Nielsen/EYC/84.51) usage; excellent planning and project management skills; strong ability to leverage creative thinking.
