SUMMARY: The primary purpose of this position is to advance the delivery of business enabling IT solutions to the Business groups supported. A critical focus will be engaging with IT peers and Customers to ensure that the deliver and quality of IT applications are in-line with the needs of Customer. This position is expected to contribute by analyzing and documenting the functional and technical specifications of requirements or user stories, contributing to the build or configuration of a solution, and participating in resolving support related concerns, while enhancing productivity, quality, and customer service standards. This position will focus on ensuring the necessary KPIs and SLAs are met to enable the consistent and efficient delivery of our IT services model to all functions of Tyson Foods. Further responsibilities will include developing and maintaining a professional and technical knowledge of the area assigned, including a consistent focus on emerging and predominant technologies that enable the assigned area. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Support: Create, maintain, and ensure quality of systems that support key Customer business processes. Collaborate with the functional end users, vendors, and IT peers to solve support issues as needed. Document and maintain support procedures and information as needed to maintain a positive support level. Focus on delivering support efforts within established service level agreements to ensure department key performance indicators are met. Project Delivery and Process Optimization: Support the execution of projects using the Tyson Agile project methodology. Analyze and document functional and technical specifications of requirements or user stories. Contribute to the build or configuration of solutions as needed to accomplish the Customer goals. Maintain awareness of best practices, including processes and technology, and identify opportunities for improvement of existing functionality. Develop, use existing, or research new tools that improve the delivery of solutions to customers.

REQUIREMENTS:

Education: Minimum two-year degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or other technical area. Related experience may be acceptable. College degree preferred.

Experience: 2+ years of progressive experience in Information Systems or advanced degree with limited experience.

Computer Skills: Must be proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, Power point, and Access.

Communication Skills: This position will interact with and is expected to communicate to IT peers and customers to provide excellent support and project delivery. Excellent written and verbal communication skills required.

Supervisory: No

Travel: 1 to 5 domestic trips per year.

Job Requirements

.Net and MS SQL skills required, experience with Accenture CAS TPM software a plus.
