Career Description

SUMMARY: This position within the Corporate Accounting group is primarily responsible for the timely coordination, planning, preparation, presentation and filing of annual and quarterly Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) Forms 10-K and 10-Q, other ad-hoc SEC filings such as Forms 8-K, S-3, S-4, quarterly earnings releases, quarterly internal executive financial reporting packages, and sections of the Board of Directors and Audit Committee reports. This will include the initial drafting of these documents. This position is also responsible for the formatting, EDGARizing, and XBRL of all SEC filed documents, as well as the oversight and review of supporting documentation to insure all the internal and external financial reports are accurate, properly documented, tied-out and supported. This position is responsible for weekly profitability reporting to senior executives, segment analysis, and will support the testing of goodwill for impairment. The position is also responsible for oversight of the benefits accounting function. Additionally, this position assists in other financial accounting projects and analysis as needed, and assists the Investor Relations and Treasury departments with preparation of other externally provided financial information.

REQUIREMENTS:
Education: Bachelor's degree in an academic field directly related and essential to this job (Accounting or Finance degree preferred).

Experience:10+ years of related experience preferred.

Computer Skills: Working knowledge of SAP and basic knowledge of Microsoft Office applications including Excel, Word and Powerpoint preferred.

Communication Skills: Excellent written, presentation and verbal communication skills.

Special Skills: Certified Public Accountant preferred, but not required. In depth knowledge of GAAP accounting standards, SEC reporting and XBRL. Analytical and problem - solving skills. Strong leadership skills and ability to work under tight deadlines.

Supervisory: Leads group of approximately 8.

Travel: 1 to 5 domestic trips a year.
