Career Description

This position has comprehensive responsibility for all functional areas of multiple plant locations including the efficient operation of production, maintenance, personnel, safety, shipping, receiving, sanitation, scheduling, quality and process improvement. Other specific areas of responsibility include motivating operation managers to provide guidance and programs to enhance the skill level of their Team Members, resolving issues related to the quality of incomingand outgoing goods, reviewing cost and performance data to help determine areas in need of improvement. This position also requires compiling monthly efficiency reports and obtaining approval and executing all capital improvements for the designated facilities. Other duties include initiating discussion and implementation of improvement in all phases of production, assisting in identifying, evaluating, and correcting problems and performing other duties as the need arises. This position is responsible for food safety and food quality.

Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent.

Experience: 8+ years of experience. Experience with further processing in meat production preferred.

Computer Skills: Basic computer Skills.

Communication Skills: Above average ability to communicate both verbally and in writing.

Supervisory: Responsible for managing several groups of personnel who perform diverse tasks and activities in several locations.

Travel: Extensive travel.
