Career Description

This position is responsible for assisting the supervisor with product flow, process efficiency, and product quality while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures.


Tasks

Responsible for assisting the department supervisor with performing all departmental daily functions to ensure proper product flow, product quality, yield and labor efficiencies. Must ensure accuracy in system on all finished product, ensure proper loading unloading, inventory counts, assist in coordinating schedules, and must learn all oven and dry rooms departmental positions to lead and assist with team member training. Other duties will include data entry and other tasks as assigned by the supervisor. Applicant must have good communication and organizational skills and be able to perform tasks with limited supervision. Applicant must have basic computer skills to perform job duties successfully and be able to work overtime when required. This position involves work in a dry cold environment, standing, walking, bending, twisting, performing repetitive motions, reaching above shoulders, climbing stairs ladders, lifting up to 50 pounds occasionally, pushing pulling trees using up to 75 pounds of force.


Requirements

Applicant must have at least six months of continuous work history with same employer within the last twelve months to be considered for this position.
