SUMMARY:
This position will be a member of the Continuous Improvement Team supporting Poultry or Prepared Operations in the Engineering Standards Group. The position works within a team environment and is responsible for developing, maintaining, and educating on operational standards. They support using the Engineering Standards Platform to integrate and collaborate with other key areas of the Business to drive improvement. Within the Tyson Productivity System, TPS, this position is engaged with all pillars of TPS with the heaviest emphasis on production process control. The position serves as change champion associated with enterprise wide initiatives that support our internal systems. The position is also responsible for ensuring that communication and promotion of the standards and opportunities for improvement are understood across the BU leadership.

REQUIREMENTS:
B.S. Degree; Engineering or Equivalent Technical Degree Preferred.
Experience:With Preferred Degree, 3+ years experience with business processes related to consumer products manufacturing. Experience with change management and being a change champion, process design and optimization, system integration and/or operational standard development will carry special consideration. With a B.S. Degree in Non Preferred Field, 5+ years experience with business processes related to consumer products manufacturing.
Computer Skills: Standard computer skills; proficiency with Microsoft Office tools required; ability to create written documentation; familiarity with Manufacturing Execution Systems and SAP MM, QM, and PP/PI modules a plus.
Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, including the ability to present difficult concepts in understandable terms to all levels of the organization.
Special Skills: Excellent leadership, consultative and interpersonal skills; demonstrated organizational skills and results-oriented focus.
