SUMMARY:

This position is responsible for assisting the Foodservice Marketing Team on projects related to existing core business as well as organizing sales and promotional materials for both existing business and new business. This position will coordinate and lead regular competitive cuttings for branded Poultry items. Position requires heavy work in Microsoft Excel, data research, creating PowerPoint presentations and assisting Marketing managers in various projects related to day to day management of the business. This job requires very little overtime. However, there will be times when they may be asked to stay and finish a project. Must be a self-starter and self-motivated with genuine interest in learning about the company as a whole and about Foodservice.

REQUIREMENTS:
  • Education: Marketing, Finance, Business Management, or Poultry Science majors preferred. Sophomore level or higher required. (At least one year of school remaining.)
  • Experience: Previous experience in an office environment preferred.
  • Computer Skills: Proficient in MS Office, (Excel and PowerPoint are very critical to this position). We will train in sales information systems and other Tyson related systems.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills; this position interacts with Marketing & Brand Managers, Product Managers, Sales Development Managers, Account Managers, and Research & Development.
  • Special Skills: Must have strong analytical skills, be detail oriented, and able to handle the various projects they are given. Must have genuine interest in learning the business. Must be capable of delivering quality of work within reasonable time frames.
