Career Description

This position is responsible for ensuring all materials are transported and or unloaded in a timely manner while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures.


Tasks

Receive and count stock items, and record data manually or using computer. Unload items to be stored in warehouse areas. Verify inventory computations by comparing them to physical counts of stock, and investigate discrepancies or adjust errors. Store items in an orderly and accessible manner in warehouses, cooler areas, box room, or other areas. Mark stock items using identification tags or other labeling equipment. Clean and maintain supplies, tools, and equipment, office and storage areas in order to ensure compliance with safety regulations. Provide assistance or direction to other forklift driver or production workers. Drive forklift in order to pick up incoming stock or to deliver parts to designation locations. Prepare and maintain documents, bill of lading, or shipping order, to route materials.


Requirements

This facility works 7 days a week Sunday - Saturday. You must be willing to work weekends and overtime as necessary. You must be willing to accommodate shift start time changes as necessary. You must be out of your probationary period, have no more than 6 attendance points and no disciplinary actions in the last 6 months. One year of sit down battery operated forklift experience required.
