Career Description

This position is responsible for entry level non-skilled general labor while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures.


Applicants will be considered for any general labor type opening. Applicants will be considered for openings in any department that may include, but are not limited to, Top Butt Line, Bone-In Line, Ground Beef, Packaging, Marination and Distribution. If an applicant meets the minimum requirements for consideration, they may be contacted for an interview at the Bruss Plant Location. This job may require the use of a knife to trim product to specifications. This job will require working in a refrigerated environment of approximately 36-38 degrees for 8-10 hours per day. This job may also require frequent lifting of tubs boxes of meat up to 40 pounds. This job will require working with beef and pork products.


You must have one year of consecutive work history with the same employer and work history to be considered for this position. Applicants from the Chicago Metropolitan area will be considered.
