Career Description

This position is responsible for entry level non-skilled general labor while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures.


Team Members must be willing to be flexible in job assignments as they will be expected to rotate to different areas in the production and packing area. Must be willing to work in a production environment requiring safety glasses, hair beard net, hearing protection, and other protective equipment provided by the Company. Team Members must wear all company approved PPE and comply with company GMP s. Team Members are to ensure that all product is run according to specifications. Team Members must maintain good housekeeping and 5S standards. Team Members must be able to work with others in a team environment. Understand and follow verbal and written instructions. Must be willing to work in a hot environment with temperatures reaching up to 90 degrees. Must be willing to work 8 -12 hour shifts which include standing, walking, reaching over conveyors, and loading product to different locations. Must be willing to lift up to 30lbs. Perform additional tasks as needed to include, but not limited to cross training on other machines and or in other areas. All Tyson Team Members are responsible for safety. Must have at least 12 months of continuous work experience with at least one employer within the last 24 calendar months. Applicant must live in the following counties Floyd, Polk, Haralson, Cherokee+Etowah, and Bartow.
