SUMMARY: This position is responsible for the entire operation of the Converting area including but not limited to; safety/production, yields, quality, team member relations, turnover, discipline, payroll, crewing, line speeds, customer service and any additional assignments deemed appropriate by management.

REQUIREMENTS: Education: High school diploma or equivalent, Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience: 2+ years experience managing supervisors preferred, minimum of one year experience in the fresh meats pork industry with preference to those with experience on the cut/converting floor; General knowledge of production operations, techniques, procedures,product yields and quality and the knowledge of OSHA and USDA regulations. Computer Skills: Computer literate. Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written. Certification: None required. Travel: 0% to 10%. Supervisory Responsibilities: This position is responsible for supervising a group of front line supervisors and personnel who perform somewhat identical and related tasks or activities. Other Requirements: Ability to lead people by example and communication; displaysound judgment, leadership and decision making skills; work independently with little supervision; accept and delegate responsibility; good attendance and safety records; ability to work A shift and B Shift, extended hours as required.
