Career Description

This position is responsible for entry level non-skilled general labor while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures.


Applicants will be considered for any general labor type opening on shift. Jobs are fast pace and require repetitive motion. Positions require working with beef chicken and pork. Some positions require lifting up to 50 pounds. All work is performed in a cold and damp environment with temperatures ranging from 38 to 42 degrees.


Requires standing, walking, bending, stretching, climbing, pushing, pulling, and reaching. Requires standing on hard floors for 8 hours or more per day. Requires lifting handling carrying material or equipment of up to 50 pounds. These positions work in a cold and damp environment. Requires working overtime and weekends as needed. If the applicant is not contacted in the month that they applied, they will need to reapply again in the next month to be considered.
