Career Description

This position is responsible for entry level non-skilled general labor while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures.


Tasks

These positions could work in any department of the Processing or Harvest facility. Some positions involve the ability to push, pull, lift and carry 40 pounds or more. Must be willing to work in extreme cold or hot, wet environments, reach above shoulder level and stand 8-10 hours per day. These positions involve the use of a knife and hook, powered equipment such as saws, air knives, wizard knives and skinner machines.


Requirements

Must be available to work A or B shift. This facility runs up to 6 days a week, Monday through Saturday. Applicants must have 3 months consecutive work experience on any of the following jobs Clod Puller, Chuck Boner, Bone Arms, Bone Ribs, Tenderloin Puller, Pull 13th Rib Feather Bone, Bone Top Sirloin, Drop Rounds or Saw Operator, Raise Gullets, Gutter, 1st or 2nd Legger, 1st or 2nd Butter, Lowbacker or Split Saw Operator. All job offers are based on the conditions that the candidate can provide proof of authorization to work legally in the United States and pass a urinalysis screening, which is part of the post-offer health assessment.
