SUMMARY: The Human Resources Generalist assists in the interpretation and administration of the Human Resources policies, procedures and programs. This role will support various business partners and leads HR practices that will develop ahigh-performance culture. This will entail an emphasis on employee engagement, quality, productivity, goal attainment, recruitment, and the ongoing development of the workforce. The individual in this role will possess strong communication,critical thinking, organizational skills, and attention to detail. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: Manages entire recruitment process including developing and updating job descriptions, posting positions, and working closely with hiring managers tofacilitate screening, interviewing and calibration processes. Leads new hire on-boarding processes and ensures timely enrollment in benefit programs and completion of new hire paperwork. Ensures compliance and proper administration of collective bargaining agreements. Administers and interprets company policies to workforce. Administers FMLA, headcount, exit process, and coordinates/reports employee status transactions. Maintains and updates employee records as well as reportgeneration by period and compiles metrics reports. Conducts new employee orientation and coordinates training needs assessment and assists with training delivery. Leads the administration of open enrollment and employee engagement processes. Leads employee focused events and functions while keeping a pulse on culture and employee satisfaction. Assists in employee relations and investigations of CBA violations or employee conduct/absenteeism. Assists and supports all HR activities/duties as needed. REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related discipline. 3 years Human Resources experience, required. Strong communication skills at all levels, required. Must possess strong planning, interpersonal, and written skills. Must be able to adjust to change and work with deadlines. Must be proficient with Microsoft Office applications. PHR/SPHR, preferred. 1-2 years SAP experience, preferred 1-2 years recruiting systems experience, preferred.
