Career Description

This position is responsible for ensuring all materials are transported and or unloaded in a timely manner while using a hand pallet jack while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures.


Tasks

The Jack Driver retrieves pallets of product or material and moves the loaded pallet to a set location. After the pallet has been prepped it may be moved to another location. The Jack Driver retrieves pallets of product that is to be frozen from the processing lines and brought to the freezer for staging until shipped. Dumps trash as needed. If an applicant meets the minimum requirements for consideration, they may be contacted for an interview. The Dardanelle Complex Safety Goal is Zero Accidents.


Requirements

Applicant must be able to work in extremely cold temperatures must have the ability to work in damp, wet, slippery environment and stand walk for 8 to 10 hours a day. Ability to grasp, grip, twist, pull, bend and stoop occasionally. Must have the ability to read, record and write legibly must be able to drive a pallet jack and become licensed. Must be able to use a hand-held scanner correctly and efficiently. Applicant must have at least six (6) months work experience with a single employer within the last 12 months.
