Career Description

This position is responsible for assisting the Supervisor in coordination of the daily responsibilities of the department by insuring the Supervisor s instructions are communicated to the team members and carried out timely and correctly. This position will also monitor all equipment to insure it is working properly and notify the supervisor of any needed maintenance while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures.


This position is responsible for the line operation and coordination of all activities on an assigned sandwich assembly line. Candidates must be able to operate assembly line machinery on production line s consisting of multiple employees and monitor the quality of products produced while adhering to company procedures and policies. The Line Lead Machine Operator is responsible for directing the duties of the employees on the line and rotating employees to all line workstations at various times during the shift. The candidate will be responsible for all preventative maintenance including lubrication, adjustments, rebuilds, scheduled service, cleaning and assisting with change overs. Additional responsibilities include maintaining proper housekeeping in work area, working safely and following all plant GMP s. Candidates must be willing and able to stand, walk, bend, twist, stretch, climb, push, pull, kneel, squat and reach throughout an 8 to 12 hour shift. Candidates must be willing and able to lift, push, and carry items weighing up to 70 lbs. Candidates must be willing and able to work in hot (up to 95 degrees), cold (as low as 35 degrees) and or damp environments, frequently on slippery walking surfaces. The position requ

If the applicant meets the minimum requirements, they may be contacted for an interview.
