Career Description

This position is responsible for operating machinery to ensure the continuous flow of product thru the production process and insuring proper ingredients supplies are being used on the line. Responsible for monitoring and adjusting machine settings as needed and notifying supervisor if machines should require maintenance while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures.


This position requires standing and walking for 8 to 10 hours a day. Position requires bending, twisting, pushing and climbing. Must be willing and able to lift up to 40 lbs. Must be able to perform repetitive motions such as pinching and grasping. Must be willing to work cold environment, 30 to 40 degrees, with all appropriate gear. Position generally involves standing packing, palletizing, box making. Position will be standing at or near a conveyor belt, packing, box making, palletizing, and sorting raw meat products. Must be willing to work in an environment with raw meat. Other duties as assigned.


Willing to work weekends and overtime if required
