SUMMARY: This position is responsible for managing the operation and financial requirement of an effective maintenance program that includes production equipment, buildings, grounds, utilities and other areas of maintenance including ammonia compressors, and boiler equipment; managing the parts department to maintain an adequate supply of parts without incurring excess inventory and obsolete materials; managing and coordinating functions of plant maintenance and new installation in order to meet production needs at the lowest possible cost for multiple processing lines; coordinating and motivating Team Members; overseeing the purchase of equipment, materials, and supplies; managing line changeovers and new equipment installations; manage design changes to equipment and production lines to better meet customer demand; manage a CMMS (computer maintenance management system) to manage the activities of the maintenance department; manage maintenancebudgeting for weekly operation of the maintenance department and budgeting for projects managed by the facilities; work well and engage with multiply levels of management regularly, managing and planning plant wide safety, sanitation, ergonomic, USDA, OSHA, and other regulatory programs that are maintenance related; serves on the Safety committee; frequent involvement in the CIR process and project management; manage the corporate engagement requirements that include corporate reporting, Maintenance Reliability Processes and performs other responsibilities as the need arises. REQUIREMENTS: Education: A bachelor's degree and four (4) years Industrial Plant Maintenance experience preferred; or in lieu of a degree, six (6) years' Industrial Plant Maintenance experience required. Supervisory experience required. Project management experience required. Computer Skills: Experience with CMMS and proficient computer skills. CAD experience a plus, but notrequired. Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills. Travel: 1 to 5 trips per year.
