Career Description

This position is responsible for troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing all equipment and company assets while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures.


Tasks

General Maintenance Technician positions are responsible for keeping machinery running to maintain continuous production. You must be able to set up, adjust and break down production line machinery. Must be able to learn Tyson SAP software to make work order and fill out the daily documentation that is required in the system. Must be able to read and write where required. Must be able to use math as needed to make work related computation for machinery, fluid capacities, etc. Must be able to lift 70 lbs. on a daily basis and be able to work on your feet for a period of 12 hours. Must be willing to complete all required training for the job. Must participate in the plant HAZMAT response team preferably pass Level 4 HAZMAT qualification.


Requirements

Must have one year of Industrial Maintenance experience.
