This position is responsible for the day-to-day management of corporate facilities. Responsibilities include: planning, directing and reviewing the activities and operations of the facilities department to include building construction, grounds, and housekeeping; coordinate staff and/or suppliers to deliver safe and high performance facilities while maintaining fiscal responsibility; support operations teams by ensuring a safe and customer-focused environment; assist in developing and updating master facility occupancy plans; prepare and update space plans, using AutoCAD in support of new facility requirements or relocation of existing personnel and functions; participate in product selection, specifyand make purchase recommendations for furniture and other interior products. Other duties include: review drawings to ensure accuracy and that company standards are met; work in collaboration with other internal and external project team members; work in collaboration with other internal and external project team members; assist in bidding process with suppliers, ensuring adherence to company corporate policies and standards; maintain records of preventative maintenance, MSDS records, service and inspection on HVAC, boilers, chillers, elevators, alarm systems, safety systems along with any and all other facility-related equipment as assigned. This position will oversee maintenance, facilities, grounds and housekeeping and must assist in developing budgets, accounting and finance, maintenance and operations, contract services, purchasing of material, equipment and supplies and occupancy services.


Education: BA/BS degree or equivalent work experience in Facilities Management with a management/technical emphasis.

Experience: Minimum of 5 years industry experience required either in the facilities environment, third party service provider or equivalent environment;experience with managing multiple suppliers and capital projects preferred.

Computer Skills: Basic computer skills to include ability to create spreadsheets; ability to use AutoCAD preferred. Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills; strong presentation skills.

Special Skills: Ability to organize and prioritize multiple tasks and effectively manage through stressful situations; able to provide exceptional customer service; strong analytical and problem solving abilities; thoroughly familiar with reading and utilizing architectural plans; ability to develop status reports of project management data; strong organizational and management skills; demonstrated leadership; superior people management and client relationship skills.
