Career Description

SUMMARY:
This position manages the trade sales accounting within Foodservice Sales Groups. Key activities include managing trade accruals, quarter end close, variance analysis, trade analysis, customer spend analysis, and trade project management. The position will provide support for the Foodservice sales team which will include actionable sales analysis, customer program management, reporting, and other ad hoc requests. This position will be challenged to improve current processes and maintain financial controls. Other duties as needed.

REQUIREMENTS:
Education:
Requires broad knowledge in a general professional or technical field. Knowledge is normally acquired through four years of college resulting in a Bachelor's degree or equivalent in an academic field directly related and essential to the job being evaluated. Accounting degree required.

Experience:
6+ years.

Computer Skills:
Requires standard computer skills including experience with Microsoft Office package (specifically Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Access). Experience with SAP financial applications, Greenbook, Vistex, and Tyson Financial Reporting applications preferred.

Communication Skills:
Must have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

Special Skills:
Relationship management and communication skills. Basic knowledge of business cycles, systems and processes that impact Sales and Operations (Order to Cash, Demand Planning, Poultry andPrepared Operations, Purchase to Pay, Payroll, and Shared Services).

Supervisory:
One or more TM.

Travel:
5 or less domestic trips per year.
