Career Description

This position is responsible for entry level non-skilled general labor while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures.


Tasks

Applicants will be considered for a general labor type opening in the Kitchen or RTE Departments for de-boxing meat, grinding meat blending formulating, stuffing product, Wolfking operation, hanging product, fermentation tree transfer, peeling product, chubs packing, loading product for slicing, weighing product, sorting product, line feeding, casing product, and other duties as assigned by supervisor or lead person. Must be willing to tolerate temperatures of 35 degrees or below for entire shift, be able to push manipulate up to 60 pounds repeatedly, be able to walk and stand on concrete floor for the shift duration and able to follow both verbal and written instructions. The Team Member must be willing to complete all required training for the job and perform any other duties as assigned.


Requirements

Must be available to work all shifts, including weekends, and available for overtime. All job offers are based on the conditions that the candidate can provide proof of authorization to work legally in the United States and pass a urinalysis screening which is part of the post-offer health assessment. Only candidates from the following counties will be considered Alameda County.
