Career Description

SUMMARY: This position is responsible for assisting Sr Sales Account Managers with high volume National Account Foodservice beef customers. This position will be responsible for the following duties: enter and process all types of customerorders accurately; check and confirm order fill and changes with customer; track deliveries by working with our customer service department and relay pertinent information; aiding in completing various tracking/performance reports; handleand field calls from customers to obtain necessary information for the manager to address; cross train with other Sales Administrators and fill in for other Sales Administrators when needed; manage all incoming calls. Position will interactwith support departments including but not limited to claims, scheduling, transportation, pricing, production, quality assurance and credit. The person is responsible for building strong relationships with both internal and external customers, and other administrative duties as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS:

Education: High School diploma or equivalent.

Experience: 2+ year in a business environment; preferably Distribution/Customer Service.

Computer Skills: Basic MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) experience is a must. Knowledge of the Tyson Business Computer System is preferred.

Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Special Skills: Work activities are variable and require good judgment skills to complete tasks such as setting priorities, evaluating results and coordinating with others. Assignments are defined and the approach to be taken is usually determined in coordination with others. Must be able to work both asa team and independently with little or no supervision. Strong work ethic is required. Professional demeanor and phone etiquette is also a requirement. Must be highly motivated and detailed oriented, with the willingness to work in a fast-paced environment.

This is an entry level clerical/technical position that is paid hourly. This position does not offer reimbursement for interview expenses and/or relocation assistance.
