SUMMARY: This position is responsible for the development of detailed system specifications for major systems installations utilizing lean process skills. Developing and fostering leadership as well as providing direction for other members as assigned my supervisors, with emphasis on detailed analysis, programming and/or configuration problems; works with little direct supervision in the maintenance of assigned systems and the development and installation of systems. This position must have significant exposure to and demonstrated proficiency in the areas of programming and/or configuration, analysis, design, software requirements, testing, debugging, and implementation. The responsibilities and duties include but are not limited to the following: The individual will act as liaison between a business department and IT; perform all programming and/or configuration assignments as well as coach and mentor other team members as requested by supervisor. The duties include analyzing and resolving software errors in a timely and accurate fashion; providing status reports where required, developing and reviewing design specifications for software applications, and developing and maintaining software to support the business processes. Position will create and maintain documentation for code and/or configuration throughout the system lifecycle; train end users on established programs; provide on-call support and problem resolution for software applications; work with end-user groups closely to assist with aligning IT technology with the department's business goals; conduct feasibility studies to define the purpose, functions, and overall structure of business processes; perform analysis and document business processes leading to process change and/or system implementation; assist in developing system/application architecture. Individual will aid in developing scope and requirements for IT projects for a business unit; aid in development and execution of project plans; conduct acceptance testing to ensure that the functional and business requirements are met by the provided solution; responsible for collaborating with business analysts and other Team Members to develop and lead testing efforts across many different platforms.

REQUIREMENTS:

Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or other technical area. Equivalent work experience may be acceptable.

Experience: 3+ years of progressive experience in Information Systems or related area related to analysis and development, or advanced degree with 4+ years of progressive experience.

Software Skills: Experience working in an Agile software development environment. Preferred but not required: Back Office Associates toolset DSP Migrate experience. Required: SAP Data Services.

Communication Skills: Exceptional verbal and written skills; ability to communicate technical solutions to non-technical team members; experience providing constructive feedback to other team members.

Special Skills: Ability to work independently in an agile culture with quick turnaround times and deliverables. Thorough understanding of business process design and experience with a System Development Lifecycle Methodology; experience in the following: developing, reviewing, and/or modifying specifications, configurations and/or programs to meet specified requirements; analyzing and interpreting information systems proposals, and evaluating and developing alternative implementation plans; working productively on a team. Must have the ability to provide constructive feedback to other team members; working knowledge of relevant multi-user computer systems, applications, and/or equipment; knowledge of current technology developments and trends; extensive problem-solving skills and experience developer and executing test plans; possess basic project management capabilities; ability to develop good working relationship with business area team members; posses basic SQL and data analysis skills.

Supervisory: No supervisory responsibilities.

Travel: Some travel may be required. Amount of travel will be determined by individual project requirements.
