Summary:

The primary purpose of this position is to is to execute the delivery of the HR technology road-map and operational projects. This position is expected to contribute to strategic planning and execute the future vision of the HR shared services model. Current objectives are focused on growth of HR capabilities in support of HR and business objectives.
This position will be responsible for development and implementation of solutions to deliver on the future vision of our HR technology roadmap. They will work closely with our IT partners to implement the strategic roadmap for all technology platforms to support the HR function while maintaining professional and technical knowledge by tracking emerging trends. This role will also play an integral part in identifying opportunities for process improvement and contribute to cross functional initiatives for both HR and IT.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Take ownership as the business lead for guiding teams through the delivery of HR Roadmap projects using Tyson project methodology.
  • Participate in evaluation, reporting, and analysis to understand effectiveness of new initiatives, recommend solutions, and identify trends to make predictions.
  • Drive process improvement through technology by partnering with IT to think strategically about new initiatives, participate in researching new technology selections.
  • Ensure best practices for both process and technology across the team. Identify opportunities for improvement of existing functionality.
  • Develop, use existing, or research new tools that drive efficiency in the delivery of our HR function; Continuously seek opportunities for synergy, improvement, simplification and automation of existing processes, technology, reporting, etc.
  • Develop and maintain tools and methods for rapid response to acquisition and other system and mass data changes.
  • Provide thought leadership to internal business customers by researching and analyzing data to draw conclusions, identify trends and uncover potential issues. Use this knowledge to develop recommendations.
  • Assist with broader HR Connect initiatives and strategy planning.
  • Create, maintain, and ensure quality and integrity of data sources, mass data load tools, and systems that support key HR support practices and procedures including team member transactional activities, acquisitions, recruiting, talent, and learning systems.
  • Collaborate with the functional end users and use the technical resources to design optimized HR processes and systems functionality that will satisfy the customer need.
  • Ensure that all testing procedures have been carried out as per the predetermined goals
  • Generate ad hoc load tools and single-use driven deliverables as required by business need while driving toward re-usable and standards-based master data maintenance tools.
  • Focus on delivering support efforts within established service level agreements to ensure department key performance indicators are met.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 3-5 years relevant experience or equivalent
  • Advanced computer skills required. Understanding of HCM functional areas and implementation, configuration, and architecture of on premises and cloud HCM systems; skilled with database queries, scripting for master data loads, reporting and analytics tools.
  • This position will interact with and is expected to communicate results/recommendations, and secure buy-in across a broad range of users, stakeholders, and management. Must have the ability to translate complex technical themes into business facing language. Excellent written and verbal communication skills required.
  • : Ability to lead/deliver analysis of complex processes, systems, and master data configuration and load techniques to support acquisitions and other projects, processes, users, and stakeholders.
  • Experience with process documentation, identifying improvement opportunities and specific measurements to track performance post implementation.
  • Proven ability to manage cross functional projects using the defined Tyson methodology. Understands how to escalate & drive issues to resolution, manage budget, perform resource planning and manage scope.
  • Exceptional technical and analytical skills with the ability to think creatively across topics and develop new solutions; Superior organizational and problem solving;
