Summary:
This position will be a critical part of the Foodservice Broadline Revenue Management team. The Sr. Analyst will report into the Strategic Revenue Manager and support customer pricing/margin activities and analytical insights to achieve business goals. This role will help identify and develop pricing strategies, build sales analytics, and enhance operational support to facilitate decisions to be made by the Strategic Revenue Manager.

The Sr. Analyst will work closely with sales and marketing teams to understand the go-to-market strategy around key categories of the portfolio. Also includes providing ad-hoc reports/analysis to support sales initiatives and outline customer value proposition.

Job Responsibilities:
Develop and implement monthly and quarterly pricing for operator accounts. A customer and product specific profit and loss statements for new business opportunities and promotions. Analyze promotional spending from a category and customer perspective. Partner with sales teams to communicate pricing actions, resolve pricing issues, and improve operational efficiency. Enter program into Vistex to ensure correct customer pricing. Monitor weekly deduction balances and work cross-functionally to reduce balance. Quantify and track trade synergies and spend efficiencies. Develop and share best practices.

Qualifications:
Education:

B.S. in Finance, Business, Accounting or equivalent. 2-4 years of previous financial or business experience.

Computer skills:
Advance skills in Microsoft Excel, Word and Access. Familiar with advanced formulas, pivot tables, database query design. Advanced system knowledge working with Vistex or other foodservice trade applications, SAP, Power BI a plus.Strong analytics and financial acumen

Communication Skills:
Strong communications skills - both verbal and written. Excellent customer service/people skills required. Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize workload. Detail orientated with strong problem-solving skills. Foodservice industry experience a plus. Demonstrated capability of maximizing reporting applications. Ability to work in a matrix organization

Position can sit in either the Chicago, IL office or the Springdale, AR office.
