Career Description

This position is responsible for operating machinery to ensure the continuous flow of product thru the production process. Responsible for monitoring and adjusting machine settings as needed and notifying supervisor if machines should require maintenance while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures.


Tasks

Team Member is responsible for set up and tear down of the Alpina, Marlen and piping between. Team Member must be capable of operating and running all stuffing equipment. Team Member is responsible for meeting diameter and length requirements, ensuring clips are secure and that no air is being stuffed into the casing. Team Member will work with Stuffer Assist s to make sure stuffing area runs in a smooth and consistent manner. Team Member will observe Tyson and USDA safety and sanitation rules, as well as wear proper PPE at all times. Responsible for other duties as assigned by Supervisor. Basic computer skills preferred and be willing to obtain Lock out Tag out training and certification. This position involves working in a cold wet environment, lifting, standing and walking.


Requirements

Applicant must have at least six months of continuous work history with same employer within the last twelve months to be considered for this position.
