Career Description

SUMMARY: This position will be responsible for management of the maintenance storeroom & personnel. This includes security of all parts & materials, processing of purchase orders, inventory balance (minimum/maximum), and expediting purchase orders. Any other duties, as assigned by upper management.

REQUIREMENTS: Education: High School diploma or equivalent preferred. Experience: 1+ year(s) of experience in meat processing, preferably in pork; previous experience running a supply room preferred. Computer Skills: Basic computer skills using Microsoft Office programs such as Word, Excel & Outlook. Communication Skills: Excellent interpersonal communication skills, both verbal & written. Special Skills: Knowledgeof techniques & methods associated with storeroom or supply techniques; knowledge of the meat packing process and its unique procedures & practices. Physical Requirements: Must be able to work in both cold and hot environments. This job requires simultaneous use of both hands as well as the ability to walk, bend, squat, sit, and stand for prolonged periods of time. This job requires ability to lift 100 pounds and may require reaching above shoulder height with lift. Travel: Minimal
