Career Description

This position is responsible for entry level non-skilled general labor while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures.


Pre-clean the front and back of the tractor using a hand held pressure washer and cleaning solution to remove road film and insects. Must be able to drive a Diesel tractor with or without trailer into tight wash bay area and on property grounds. Climb in and out of tractors and trailers repetitively. Operate the automatic wash system this includes adding chemicals as needed. Keep tractor in clean condition hand washing windows, floors and inside the cab. Must be able to read and understand chemical labels and MSDS labels. Must be able to communicate with Drivers, Supervisors, and Mechanics. Keep tools, parts and the truck shop and wash bay area clean including spills. Maintain Compliance with all OSHA, DOT and EPA regulations. All other duties will be assigned by your supervisor.


Must have a valid Driver s License. Experience working in and around heavy equipment is preferred. Rehire candidates have a six month waiting period from the last date of separation to be considered. The following separation reasons will not eligible for rehire Attendance, Job Abandonment, Walked Off The Job, Rules of Conduct, Safety, Unsatisfactory Probationary Period.
